GABRIELLE LEIGHTON

I am an award-winning graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's Interior Design program class of 2024. My practice is rooted in a strong belief that design is a problem-solving tool, a way of forming ideas that bridge the gap between narrative and visual representation. My educational background is in fine arts from my time at OCAD pursuing my BFA; this has allowed me to follow an idea with the ability to bring new techniques and drawing methods to achieve the best visual communication possible for a concept. My education and work history have made me constantly curious about film, art and architecture, which has informed my approach to interiors.
